Jason Beckert Presented with Outstanding Scientist Award

Microtrace Senior Research Microscopist Jason Beckert was recently awarded the “Outstanding Scientist Award” by the Midwestern Association of Forensic Scientists (MAFS). Mr. Beckert was presented with the award at the conclusion of the 53rd annual MAFS Fall Meeting in Kansas City, MO. The meeting ran from September 8th-13th, 2024.

The Midwestern Association of Forensic Scientists (MAFS) is a regional organization consisting of over 900 scientists representing local, state, federal, and private forensic science laboratories. It was founded in 1972 with the purpose of encouraging the exchange of ideas and information within forensic science.
