Scent Spheres
Microspheres of encapsulated scent (from an unrelated case).
We were contacted by the attorneys for a manufacturing firm that held a patent for a technology related to the micro-encapsulation of fragrances adhered to printed material. When another company claimed infringement on their patents, we contacted to examine and compare product from each source in minute detail, microscopically, chemically and elementally. Even the minute spheres were individually isolated in our clean room and for analysis. The analytical results were compared with the written claims in both patents, which clearly demonstrated that there was no relationship between the two technologies.
